I just received the following update from Lindy ...
Just off with lawyer again..the woman signed the wrong document...so we DO NOT have what we need...if the lawyer does not have it early in the morning we have to head to court for the temporary injuncture (I believe this is the correct terminology)

How could she sign the wrong doc? How could a lawyer provide the wrong doc? Don't you think this is odd? Hope they aren't trying to trick our side.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Lisa. I'm sure that both Lindy and Penny-Belle are wiped out with exhaustion and stress. As soon as I hear anything new it will be posted here asap.

ReplyDeleteAn Update-8:46 pm on Monday Feb 7th..the documents have been signed...Harrison WILL be returned to his breeder tomorrow when his quarantine is complete. We are beyond happy...Westies in Need can not thank everyone enough for all your work---please cross post and e-mail info to everyone to let them know. His breeder can not say thank you enough to all of you!!! She will finally sleep tonight.
There has been so much erroneous information circulated by people who do not have first-hand knowledge of what is going on.
ReplyDeleteThe documents have not been signed as the one that was originally signed (with the second one hopefully tomorrow), was the wrong document.
Lindy is the person who has actually been at the courthouse and with Harrison's breeder since this horrific situation began. The updates that I have posted here have come directly from Lindy. Furthermore, Lindy asked people to come here for the latest updates.
Until I hear from Lindy and have another update, I would recommend that you trust what is posted here, vs updates from anyone else.
There has already been too much mis-information posted by other persons.
Keep those good thoughts and prayers coming that this will all be resolved tomorrow.

Exactly how bad was this child bitten? Shouldn't that have merit regarding the outcome of this little dog's life? I watched the video and the little cat that Harrison was Playing with could have probably kicked his butt! In this world, there are people that are just plain Mean and I'm sick of them winning. How can this Heartless SOB force the "Owner" to retrieve "Her" dog so that "he" can have Harrison killed? I will continue to pray for Justice until I know for absolute sure that Harrison is safe. It probably wouldn't hurt to pray for God to soften the "Moron's" heart either. I was online for hrs contacting people I thought might be able to help. Please keep me informed. Thank You, Linda
